Skilmálar þessir gilda um kaup á stökum tímum, tímakortum, námskeiðum og annarri þjónustu sem seld er á vefsíðu The Practice Room.
2. Verð og greiðslur
Verð þjónustu kemur fram á vefsíðunni áður en gengið er frá kaupum. Uppgefið verð er endanlegt verð sem kaupandi greiðir, nema annað sé sérstaklega tekið fram.
Greiðslur fara fram í gegnum örugga greiðslusíðu Straums. The Practice Room geymir ekki kortaupplýsingar viðskiptavina.
Kvittun og staðfesting á kaupum eru send á það netfang sem kaupandi gefur upp við kaupin. Kaupandi ber ábyrgð á því að upplýsingarnar séu réttar.
3. Stakir tímar og bókanir
Kaup á stökum tíma gilda fyrir þann tíma sem bókaður hefur verið.
Hægt er að afbóka stakan tíma með að minnsta kosti 12 klukkustunda fyrirvara. Við tímanlega afbókun getur kaupandi óskað eftir endurgreiðslu eða flutt greiðsluna yfir á annan tíma.
Sé afbókað með minna en 12 klukkustunda fyrirvara, eða ef þátttakandi mætir ekki, fæst greiðslan ekki endurgreidd.
Þar sem stakur tími er tómstundaþjónusta sem veitt er á tilteknum degi og tíma kann lögbundinn réttur til að falla frá fjarsölusamningi ekki að eiga við, sbr. lög nr. 16/2016 um neytendasamninga.
4. Fimm og tíu tíma kort
Fimm og tíu tíma kort gilda í sex mánuði frá kaupdegi.
Tímakort eru ætluð þeim einstaklingi sem skráður er fyrir kaupunum og eru ekki framseljanleg nema með samþykki The Practice Room.
Ónotað tímakort fæst að fullu endurgreitt ef kaupandi tilkynnir um að hann falli frá kaupunum innan 14 daga frá kaupdegi.
Óski kaupandi eftir að byrja að nota tímakortið innan 14 daga frá kaupum og falli síðan frá kaupunum innan sama frests er verðmæti þeirra tíma sem þegar hafa verið nýtt dregið frá endurgreiðslunni. Frádrátturinn miðast við hlutfallslegt verð hvers tíma samkvæmt því tímakorti og þeirri fjárhæð sem greidd var.
Eftir að 14 daga fresturinn er liðinn eru tímakort almennt ekki endurgreidd. Ónotaðir tímar eru ekki endurgreiddir þegar gildistími kortsins rennur út.
The Practice Room getur, að eigin mati, framlengt gildistíma tímakorts vegna langvarandi veikinda eða annarra sérstakra aðstæðna. Beiðni um slíka framlengingu skal send á hello@practiceroom.is áður en gildistími kortsins rennur út.
5. Námskeið
Skráning á námskeið tryggir þátttakanda sæti á því námskeiði sem tilgreint er við kaupin.
Hætti þátttakandi við að minnsta kosti sjö dögum áður en námskeið hefst fæst námskeiðsgjaldið að fullu endurgreitt.
Sé hætt við á síðustu sjö dögum fyrir upphaf námskeiðs fæst greiðslan aðeins endurgreidd ef The Practice Room tekst að úthluta sætinu til annars þátttakanda. Þátttakanda er einnig heimilt, í samráði við The Practice Room, að framselja sætið til annars einstaklings.
Eftir að námskeið er hafið fæst námskeiðsgjaldið ekki endurgreitt. Fjarvera úr einstökum tímum námskeiðs veitir ekki rétt til endurgreiðslu að hluta.
Námskeið sem fer fram á fyrirfram ákveðnum dagsetningum telst tómstundaþjónusta á tilteknu tímabili og kann lögbundinn 14 daga réttur til að falla frá fjarsölusamningi því ekki að eiga við.
6. Afbókanir og breytingar af hálfu The Practice Room
Ef The Practice Room fellir niður stakan tíma getur kaupandi valið á milli fullrar endurgreiðslu og þess að flytja greiðsluna yfir á annan tíma.
Ef námskeiði er aflýst af hálfu The Practice Room er námskeiðsgjaldið endurgreitt að fullu.
The Practice Room áskilur sér rétt til að breyta kennara, tímasetningu eða staðsetningu þegar nauðsyn krefur. Verði breyting veruleg verður þátttakendum tilkynnt um hana eins fljótt og kostur er og þeim boðin endurgreiðsla ef þeir geta ekki nýtt þjónustuna vegna breytingarinnar.
7. Endurgreiðslur
Beiðnir um afbókun eða endurgreiðslu skulu sendar með tölvupósti á hello@practiceroom.is. Í beiðninni skal koma fram nafn kaupanda, netfang og upplýsingar um kaupin.
Samþykkt endurgreiðsla fer að jafnaði fram með sama greiðslumiðli og var notaður við kaupin. Endurgreiðsla verður afgreidd eins fljótt og kostur er og eigi síðar en 14 dögum eftir að réttmæt beiðni berst.
8. Þátttaka, heilsa og persónulegir munir
Þátttaka í tímum og námskeiðum er á eigin ábyrgð. Þátttakendur skulu taka mið af eigin heilsu og líkamlegri getu og láta kennara vita af meiðslum, meðgöngu eða öðrum aðstæðum sem kunna að hafa áhrif á þátttöku.
Jógakennsla kemur ekki í stað læknisfræðilegrar ráðgjafar eða meðferðar. Ef vafi leikur á um hvort þátttaka henti viðkomandi skal leita ráðgjafar heilbrigðisstarfsmanns.
The Practice Room ber ekki ábyrgð á persónulegum munum sem glatast eða skemmast á æfingastað, nema tjón megi rekja til ásetnings eða stórfellds gáleysis af hálfu The Practice Room.
9. Persónuupplýsingar
Persónuupplýsingar sem veittar eru við kaup eru notaðar til að afgreiða greiðslu, skrá þátttöku, senda kvittun og staðfestingu og uppfylla lagalegar skyldur seljanda.
Upplýsingar eru ekki notaðar til markaðssetningar nema viðkomandi hafi veitt sérstakt samþykki fyrir því.
10. Lögbundin réttindi
Ekkert í skilmálum þessum takmarkar þau lögbundnu réttindi sem neytendur njóta samkvæmt íslenskum lögum, þar á meðal lögum nr. 16/2016 um neytendasamninga.
Neytandi getur tilkynnt ákvörðun um að falla frá kaupum með ótvíræðri yfirlýsingu sem send er á hello@practiceroom.is. Tilkynningin þarf að vera send áður en viðeigandi frestur rennur út.
11. Kvartanir og ágreiningur
Athugasemdum og kvörtunum skal beina til The Practice Room á hello@practiceroom.is. Leitast verður við að leysa úr öllum málum með sanngjörnum og skjótum hætti.
Um skilmála þessa og viðskipti samkvæmt þeim gilda íslensk lög.

These terms apply to purchases of single classes, class passes, courses and other services sold through The Practice Room website.
2. Prices and payments
The price of each service is displayed on the website before the purchase is completed. The displayed price is the final amount payable by the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Payments are processed through Straumur’s secure payment page. The Practice Room does not store customers’ payment-card information.
A receipt and purchase confirmation are sent to the email address provided by the customer during checkout. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is correct.
3. Single classes and bookings
A single-class purchase applies to the specific class that has been booked.
A single class may be cancelled at least 12 hours before it begins. When a booking is cancelled within the permitted time, the customer may request a refund or transfer the payment to another class.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the class begins, and failure to attend a booked class, are not eligible for a refund.
As a single class is a leisure service provided on a specified date and at a specified time, the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract may not apply, pursuant to Icelandic Consumer Contracts Act No. 16/2016.
4. Five- and ten-class passes
Five- and ten-class passes are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
Class passes are intended for the person registered in connection with the purchase and may not be transferred to another person without the consent of The Practice Room.
A completely unused class pass is eligible for a full refund if the customer gives notice of withdrawal within 14 days of the purchase date.
If the customer requests to begin using the class pass within the 14-day withdrawal period and subsequently withdraws from the purchase within that same period, the value of any classes already used will be deducted from the refund. The deduction will be calculated proportionally according to the pass purchased and the amount paid.
Once the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, class passes are generally non-refundable. Unused classes are not refunded when the validity period of the pass expires.
At its discretion, The Practice Room may extend the validity of a class pass in cases of prolonged illness or other exceptional circumstances. Requests for an extension must be sent to hello@practiceroom.is before the pass expires.
5. Courses
Registration for a course reserves a place for the participant on the course specified at the time of purchase.
If the participant cancels at least seven days before the course begins, the course fee will be refunded in full.
For cancellations made during the final seven days before the course begins, the fee will only be refunded if The Practice Room is able to allocate the place to another participant. In consultation with The Practice Room, the participant may also transfer the place to another person.
Once a course has begun, the course fee is non-refundable. Absence from individual sessions does not entitle the participant to a partial refund.
A course held on predetermined dates constitutes a leisure service provided during a specified period. The statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract may therefore not apply.
6. Cancellations and changes by The Practice Room
If The Practice Room cancels a single class, the customer may choose between a full refund and transferring the payment to another class.
If The Practice Room cancels a course, the course fee will be refunded in full.
The Practice Room reserves the right to change the teacher, time or location when necessary. If a significant change is made, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and offered a refund if the change prevents them from using the service.
7. Refunds
Requests for cancellation or a refund must be sent by email to hello@practiceroom.is. The request should include the customer’s name, email address and information identifying the purchase.
Approved refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 14 days after a valid request is received.
8. Participation, health and personal belongings
Participation in classes and courses is at the participant’s own responsibility. Participants should take their health and physical ability into consideration and inform the teacher of injuries, pregnancy or other circumstances that may affect their participation.
Yoga instruction is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Anyone who is uncertain whether participation is suitable for them should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The Practice Room is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost or damaged at the place of practice unless the loss or damage results from intentional conduct or gross negligence by The Practice Room.
9. Personal information
Personal information provided during a purchase is used to process the payment, register participation, send receipts and confirmations, and fulfil the seller’s legal obligations.
Personal information will not be used for marketing unless the individual has given separate consent.
10. Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights afforded to consumers under Icelandic law, including Icelandic Consumer Contracts Act No. 16/2016.
A customer may notify The Practice Room of a decision to withdraw from a purchase by sending an unequivocal statement to hello@practiceroom.is. The notice must be sent before the applicable withdrawal period expires.
11. Complaints and disputes
Comments and complaints should be directed to The Practice Room at hello@practiceroom.is. The Practice Room will endeavour to resolve all matters fairly and promptly.
These terms and all transactions governed by them are subject to Icelandic law.
